Meet Acynthia Villery, a dynamic and accomplished professional making a significant impact in both her community and the cancer non-profit sector as the Advisory Board President of Pretty Girls With Cancer. Born and raised in Beaumont, TX, Acynthia pursued her studies in Human Resource Management at Lamar University and Our Lady of The Lake. With a deep commitment to her family, she is a proud mother of three children - Sean, Steven, and Kathryn, and revels in the joys of being a grandmother to eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Currently residing in Pearland, TX, Acynthia's passion for making a difference extends far beyond her home.

For an impressive 36 years, Acynthia has been actively involved with the Bill Pickett Invitation Rodeo, demonstrating her versatility in various roles. She serves as the Social Media Director and holds the esteemed position of the First African American Female Rodeo Announcer, breaking barriers and inspiring others through her trailblazing achievements. Professionally, Acynthia collaborates with her sister, Sarah, at Express Billing Inc., where she plays an essential role in Human Resources. Additionally, she serves as the VP of Sales with The ForWard Insurance Agency, leveraging her expertise to help companies optimize their employee benefits.

Acynthia's achievements and contributions have earned her widespread recognition and accolades, including being the Owner of Alpha Omega Media Services. As the 1st African American Female Rodeo Announcer, she continues to make history and inspire the next generation of trailblazers. Her dedication to community service is evident in her role as the Advisory Board President for Pretty Girls With Cancer, where she lends her expertise to empower and support cancer patients and survivors. Acynthia's commitment to service and leadership earned her the distinguished honor of being the first recipient of the Acynthia Villery Unsung Hero Award.

A recognized professional, Acynthia is a lifetime member of the International Society of Female Professionals, further illustrating her dedication to her field and professional growth.Beyond her work with cancer-related causes, Acynthia actively contributes to the fight against Covid-19 as a Task Force Member for Covid-19 Long Haulers at Hugo Kindred.
