Kilian Williams-Andrews, MSN, RN

Introducing Kilian Williams-Andrews, a compassionate and accomplished Registered Nurse, serving as the Advisory Board Parliamentarian for a Non-Profit Cancer Organization. With nearly two decades of experience in various healthcare settings, Kilian's expertise spans across Inpatient, Outpatient/Ambulatory, Public Health, Academia, Research, and Consulting. Born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, she developed her leadership skills and community service spirit early on, actively engaging in organizations like Jack and Jill of America, Inc., the Peer Health Educators Program, and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., during her high school, college, and post-college years.

Since 2007, Kilian has been an integral part of the Houston community, dedicating her time and skills to making a difference in people's lives. In 2009, she became one of the pioneering nurses chosen to pilot a nationwide, evidence-based program called Nurse Family Partnership in the Houston area. The program's success in improving pregnancy outcomes, child health and development, and empowering families to plan for their future was a testament to Kilian's dedication to community health.

Kilian's commitment to community leadership and excellence in nursing has been recognized with the Excellence in Nursing (Silver) Award for Non-Hospital Based care from the Good Samaritan Foundation in Houston, Texas, in 2016.

Her pursuit of academic excellence led her to earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Mount Mary University in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, and a Masters of Science with a concentration in Nursing Education from Prairie View A&M University. Her dedication to leadership and academic achievements earned her an induction into Sigma Theta Tau, the prestigious International Honor Society of Nursing.

As the Advisory Board Parliamentarian for the Non-Profit Cancer Organization, Kilian brings her wealth of experience, compassion, and leadership skills to support the organization's mission. Her dedication to educating and inspiring others and her commitment to community service align perfectly with the organization's goals in the fight against cancer.

Outside of her professional endeavors, Kilian enjoys exploring the world through fiction novels and traveling both domestically and internationally. She resides in Houston with her husband, cherishing every moment spent with loved ones. In her role as the Advisory Board Parliamentarian, Kilian will undoubtedly be a guiding force, using her expertise to help shape decisions and policies, ultimately making a positive impact in the lives of those affected by cancer.
